Abrasive materials play important role in development of modern engineering, including electrocorundum, which finds wide application in treating articles of metals, wood, plastics, leather in aviation, automobile and many other sectors of industry.
This investigation is devoted to analysis of market of common electrocorundum and white electrocorundum in Russia and CIS countries for optimizing penetration into the market.

This work is desk study. At final stage, the summarized and analyzed data was verified by the way of conducting telephone interviews with representatives of company-consumers of electrocorundum.
