Annual award 2008

OurMetals.com welcomes you to an annual advertising award competition within metals, minerals and mining industry that is designed to judge entries in the following 4 categories:

corporate web sites,
online advertisements (banners/tablets/skycrapers),
print advertisiments in magazines,
brand development (combination of the above 3 categories).

An annual award competition is developed to honor excellence in advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the award winning advertising.

Who may enter

The competition is open to all companies involved in metals, minerals and mining industry. Banners and print ads eligible for entry must have run at some time during the period from January 1, 2008 until December 15, 2008 The person submitting the entry will be considered the "nominator" and will receive all communications regarding the Awards. You do not have to be a member of OurMetals.com to enter Annual Advertising Competition Awards.

Entry fee: 100 EUR for 1 category or 250 EUR for 4 categories.

Judging criteria

Entries must be submitted by 7th December 2008 and will be judged on the judging criteria and compete head-to-head with other entries within their specific category.

Our judges are experienced professionals with an in-depth understanding of the current state-of-the-art in advertising design and technology and the objectivity to score entries according to a predefined set of criteria.

Awards

Winners will be announced on 13th December 2008. Awards will be given to those entries that the judges rate as best within each category. All winners will receive:

a handsome trophy to display;
personalized certificate of achievement;
an award icon for their comapny's website;
an entry highlighted on www.ourmetals.com/awards;
6 months free banner 468x60 allocation on OurMetals.com.
