Company introduction: CCP is a newly found company that is providing financial services in the capital markets in Mongolia. Due to economic factors Mongolian companies are growing at a rapid pace. However, this growth could be pushed even further by infusion of additional funds. Although almost every project seems profitable many companies lack the money to pursue them. On the other side of the spectrum, international and domestic investors are looking for highly profitable investments. Foreign direct investment has increased significantly reaching 10 billion USD. Yet still, there is room for more. As the Mongolian companies grow they are becoming more sophisticated looking for various venues to raise capital including the Stock Market. Because most of the larger companies obtained their assets during the privatization effort by the government and purchased in 1990’s values their stock is becoming more and more attractive. A clear need for capital intermediation is evident.

Company services: CCP is currently offering financial advisory services to Mongolian companies interested in raising capital to expand their operations. Depending on the financial needs several options exist for Mongolian companies, such as bank loans, issuing bond, and going public. However, current interest rate regime makes bank loans very expensive. Traditionally not considered a very attractive method of raising capital, the stock market, is now becoming popular. On the buy side, CCP is offering full line of brokerage services. In addition, we provide advice on other financial instruments that our clients would be interested such as investing in Mongolian corporate or sovereign bonds, corporate short term notes, bank notes and certificates of deposit.
